FINE ART & ANIMATION SUMMER CAMP 2010

Thinking of doing something CREATIVE this summer? Feel Artistic offers exciting half and full day summer camps with extended hour services. This camp will turn your Kids' summer into the most creative time of their life by exploring the exciting field of animation and fine art, making new friends and learning new skills. This camp will be led by our friendly and professional artist.

Camp Hours: Option of half or full day camp

Half Day Morning session: 9am - 1:00pm |Half Day After Noon session: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Full Day Session: 9am to 5pm

Camp Schedule:

Camp schedule is based upon Snohomish county school district summer vacation calendar 2010.

Week One: Mon Jun 21st - Fri Jun 25th - Drawing Manga & Aneme

Get ready for Japanese art activity. In this camp student will learn how to draw your own Manga and Anime character. Student will go through series of exercises. Step by Step instruction will be given to draw face and body shapes of Manag.

Week Two: Mon Jul 5th - Fri Jul 9th - Open Sketch

Come learn to truly "see" objects in an artistic way. In this camp students will learn the basic fundamentals of still life sketching using different shades of graphite and charcoal. They will also learn blending and line variation technique.

Week Three: Mon Jul 12th - Fri Jul 16th - Digital Drawing for Animation and Comics.

We are in digital world. Lets discover how to use digital drawing for animation, cartoons, comics and more. In this class students will learn to draw basics of digital drawing. They will go through series of drawing exercises directly into a computer using digital pad, digital pen and corel painter tools.

Week Four: Mon Jul 19th - Fri Jul 23rd - Painting with Soft Pastel

Lets learn all about soft pastel and painting in this most exciting camp. In this camp students will learn the basic fundamentals and techniques of painting using different shades of soft pastels. All supplies will be provided in camp at no additional cost.

Week Five:  Mon Jul 26th - Fri Jul 30th - Drawing Dragons (NEW)

Get ready for drawing dragons. In this camp student will learn how to draw your own dragons characters. Student will go through series of exercises. Step by Step instruction will be given to draw face and body shapes of Dragons.

Week Six: Mon Aug 2nd - Fri Aug 6th - Fun with water color

This camp is for you if you like Water Color or like to learn about water colors. All supplies will be provided in camp at no additional cost. This will be a fun activity. Join us and learn to draw and paint water color.

Week Seven: Mon Aug 9th - Fri Aug 13th - Portrait Drawing

If you have never drawn self portrait or you are an artist with some skills, this camp is for you. Come and join this camp to learn profile, frontal and three quarter view of human face using charcoal and graphite. All supplies will be provided in camp at no additional cost.

Week Eight: Mon Aug 16th - Fri Aug 20th - Comic Journal

Put toon life in your jokes. This will be fun and creative. It is ideal for children who want to add "toon life" in jokes.

In this class students will learn:

• How to draw cartoon character using pencil and computer application.

• How to add cartoon to stories/ jokes.

Week Nine: Mon Aug 23rd - Fri Aug 27th - Animation for kids

This is our one of the most all time famous camp. This camp will turn your kid’s summer into the most creative time of his/her life by exploring the exciting art of animation. Students will learn:

• the basic drawing objects and making them move for creating motion.
• creating motion as they learn the basic fundamentals of 2D and 3D animation.
• Learn how animated cartoon movie is produced.
• create quick time movies.
• build an inspiring and professional portfolio.
• learn to draw Anticipation, Action and Result for objects and characters.
• go through a series of hand- drawn and computer exercises which are essential for creating movements.

Week Ten: Mon Aug 30th - Fri Sep 3rd - Painting with Oil Pastels

Gain experience working with oil pastels. Students will learn basic fundamentals and techniques of painting using different shades of oil pastels. All supplies will be provided in camp at no additional cost.
