Jalāl Gilani is a gifted fine artist and animator. He has vast experience in animation art, portrait drawing, landscape and abstract calligraphy. One could see beautiful merger between western style abstract art and eastern style calligraphy. He studied animation at Vancouver Institute of Media Art, and completed electronic engineering from DeVry Institute of Chicago. He has eight plus years of experience in IT industry and seven plus years of working experience in print, media art and graphic design industry.

He says: "Drawing is my passion. I find a special surprise, every time I move my hands and spread colors on canvas or draw simple lines on a piece of paper. Each stroke of color and line of gray scale, brings beauty, happiness and blessings in my life. For this, I am eternally grateful. I am inspired by the work of Guljee and Sadequain of east and Picasso, Norman Rockwell and Vincent van Gogh of the west. "
