ANIMATION For Beginners!
Student will get access to Apple Mac Computer with all required tools and easy to follow application guided by professional artists. We will teach you how to draw and animate - easy and fun way ! also you will learn lots of short cuts and explore many ways to create and control animation.
Why this course?
When I was a kid, I always wondered how to animate cartoons? "Popeye the sailor man" was the first short cartoon movie I saw. I screamed with excitement: "How in the world do they make these non human characters move?" For me to understand that, at the age of eight, Iwas like going on vacation on the moon. At that time, there were no computers or internet and Disney was far away but the desire to learn every thing about it was born then. With limited resources, I started using school books as flip books to make cartoon movies. Clearly, those were the best days of my life.
Today, we are in a new millennium and Disney is also not far away, but still animation remains a mystery for many kids. So I decided to help these kids to wander thru the magical land of animation and to nourish the hidden artist while having lots of fun. Most of the courses available at big academies are catered to older kids, so I especially designed this course for children of all ages.

Program Description: This program is ideal for Elementry and Middle High School students. In this course, they will see their drawings come to life, as they learn the basic fundamentals of 2D and 3D animation. By learning the basics of animation, one develops an understanding of motion, weight, balance, texture, colour, and design. This will also promote the discipline and intensity required for studio work as one takes animated short films from concept to completion.
Learning Objectives: Students will learn the basic principles of animation which are the foundation of drawing, painting and animation art. They will also:
- go through a series of hand- drawn and computer exercises which is essential for creating movements.
- learn to draw Anticipation, Action and Result for characters.
- create quick time movies.
- build an inspiring and professional portfolio.
